COVID plan repost to top of page: COVIDplanNov21

February 19th, 2021

Thanks to everyone who has supported us in our first calendar year and to those who took advantage of our fantastic  Valentine’s / 1 year Anniversary sauna sessions!

February 1st, 2021

Mid February is a very important time at the Lost Faucet – not only will people celebrate their love, but The Lost Faucet Sauna House is celebrating our first year anniversary! … sort of 🙂 February 16th , 2020 we began taking public drop in clients. A month later we closed until June 1st, re-opening with private bookings only. But we still think that there is a lot to celebrate!

It’s the ultimate pampering! A great way to clean up from the inside out and relax.

Please note that until at least February 6th we will only take bookings for individual households/core bubbles up to 4 people .

Please see the description as per province of BC:For most people, their core bubble is their immediate household. An immediate household is a group of people who live in the same dwelling. For example:
• If you have a rental suite in your home, the suite is a separate household
• If you live in an apartment or house with roommates, you are all members of the same householdFor others, including people who live alone, their core bubble may also contain a partner, relative, friend or co-parent who lives in a different household. This should be a maximum of two people outside of those living in your immediate household.
For people who live alone, a core bubble is a maximum of two people you see regularly. They cannot host gatherings.November 10, 2020As the COVID-19 numbers go up across Canada and BC, and anticipating increased travel during the Christmas season, we have made some shifts in our COVID plan. We are attempting to do our part in slowing the number of cases on Vancouver Island and avoid unnecessary risks. We are committed to our community and the health and wellness of its people and small businesses.

For all future bookings, until at least the end of the Christmas season, we ask that if you are coming or returning to Vancouver Island in the last week, to wait before booking at the Lost Faucet. This would include coming to the island by ferry or plane. Please wait 7 days after being on Vancouver Island before booking at The Lost Faucet Sauna House. And, of course, if you have traveled from outside Canada or have been asked to self-isolate by the health authority, you will not be permitted to enter.

Additionally, we request that all clients wear masks upon entering the Sauna House, when leaving and while resting.

Group/Private Bookings

New Format! The Lost Faucet will always strive to be a sauna for the people. I want to give people an idea of the ways we are trying to keep sauna accessible and how we will be moving forward to serve the heat-seekers of the Comox Valley.

The current health situation requires our sauna-circles to be a little smaller. So at this time we are moving to private bookings for people in your pandemic bubble up to 5 people (no more than 3 people in the sauna at a time from the same household). Though our regular group booking price is $220 for 2 hours – we want to keep this as accessible as possible by offering a discount right now so that a private booking is only $160 for 2.5 hours. (FYI don’t be ashamed to indulge all by yourself in a booking for one!)

Additionally, if you book a weekly time for at least 4 weeks you will only pay $120/2 hour session. If you bought or received a single entry gift card ($25.12) before May 11, 2020 – we will honour that entry price. This means if you participate in a private booking for 5 people, if you have a previously bought gift card, your portion of the entry will still only be $24 + tax. These are re-opening prices and we will resume regular private booking prices later in the summer. By reservation only.

Up to 5 people pricing:

up to 5 people $160 for 2.5 hours

Book 4 consecutive weeks (regular sweat time – weekdays only) $120 / 2 hours x 4 ($480 total)

April 29, 2020

There are lots of changes happening in how we interact with each other. Stay tuned for updates on what the sauna house services will look like in this ‘new normal’.

March 16, 2020

Thank-you to the Comox Valley for your support of our sauna house so far. We love that you love it!In order to ensure the safety of our community we are temporarily suspending out public hours.
